Project Brief & Key Features: 

KBK was appointed to carry out the detailed design of a new shopping centre along with a pedestrian bridge in Hazyview in the Limpopo province. The client was Twin City (Pty) Ltd, a privately-owned development company.

The new shopping centre, Hazyview Junction, was to be built adjacent to an existing centre. The two shopping centres are divided by the R536. A requirement from the local municipality was that a pedestrian bridge be constructed to ensure the safety of the public whilst traversing between the old and the new centres. The construction of the pedestrian facilities had to be completed before the new centre could be opened to the public.
